Summit has nearly 40 classrooms in its new school building in the Western New York suburb of Amherst along with satellite classrooms in Buffalo. Each class is staffed by a special education teacher with supplemental services provided by professionals in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech/language therapy, music therapy, audiology as indicated on a student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Classrooms vary in size with half-day and full-day programs available for preschoolers. |
