Early Autism Program

"A student who was eating only pureed foor last year is now eating solid foods including jelly sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and ravioli. She is also feeding herself with a spoon, carrying her lunch bag to the cafeteria and walking to the lunchroom on her own. Last year she was taken to the cafeteria in a stroller. I'm so proud of her progress."

Home

Summit provides a variety of after school, weekend, and home and community-based services to children with developmental disabilities and their families. Some examples include:

Service Coordination: Our staff work with individual families to link them to programs and services.
Respite: We provide short-term relief to families by providing an experienced child-care worker who organizes and provides structured activities.
Residential Habilitation Services: An experienced worker develops and implements a detailed plan to each one or more daily-living skills in each child's home or appropriate community setting.
After School Program: Summit Adventures is an after school program for children with disabilities that provides structured activities and direct instruction to encourage and increase each child's social interaction, physical activity and the acquisition of daily living skills.
